His saga chronicled in the Wall Street Journal and Washington Post, Majur Juac is an elite mentor to rising talent in the tri-state area. Soft-spoken and gentle—until it comes to chess!—Juac’s care, character, and commitment to his students make him the right choice for your aspiring Grandmaster. Co-founder John McManus earned a degree in Psychology from Columbia and toiled in social science. However, after defeating a Grandmaster in an exhibition and writing a rap to explain how chess pieces move, Coach Mac recognized a calling and co-founded Start Right with friend Coach Juac.
