In this intro event, we will use our big brain to evade and slay the zombies who have been plaguing the town of Squareville! (Oh, no!) We will also meet our most powerful ally - Quite Quick Queen Quandra! In so doing, we will learn (more about):

• the geography of the chess board;

• how the pawns and queen move;

• the weird, French “en passant” rule;

• piece coordination, and

• copycat checkmate!
